Yes, trekking is mandatory for a few temples in Upper Ahobilam. Lower Ahobilam temples are easily accessible by road. For difficult treks like Ugra Stambham and Jwala Narasimha, it might be tough for elders and young children. However, local Doli services (palanquins) are available for hire.
Ahobilam is situated in a dense forest area (Nallamala hills). Currently, BSNL and Jio networks work reasonably well. Other networks like Airtel and Vi may have poor or no connectivity, especially in Upper Ahobilam.

Ahobilam is a remote pilgrimage destination with limited premium accommodation. Paying an advance confirms your serious intent to visit and allows us to block the room exclusively for you. This prevents last-minute cancellations that could negatively affect other devotees looking for rooms.
You don't need to pay the full amount. A partial advance (typically 50%) is sufficient to confirm and hold your room. The remaining balance can be cleared directly at the property during check-in. However, paying the full amount in advance ensures a quicker, hassle-free check-in process.
We understand that plans can change. If you cancel your booking at least 48 hours before your scheduled check-in date, we will process a Full Refund of your advance amount. The refund will be credited back to your original payment method within 2-3 working days.
The advance amount becomes completely Non-Refundable if the cancellation is made less than 48 hours before the check-in time, or in the case of a "No-Show" (failing to arrive without prior intimation). This policy compensates for the blocked room that could have been provided to other waiting devotees.
